Cold Steel Wakizashi Long Handle 88bwk

Japanese swords from the Emperor series have proven to be very popular among many Cold Steel customers since their first release almost five years ago. The Warrior series offers affordable swords ready for battle. Although the blades do not have a mirror polished surface, they are just as effective as their more luxurious versions. Wakizashi swords have often served as sidearms or for combat in tight spaces.

The blade is made of tempered 1060 carbon steel. The attractive handle, made of hard wood, is tightly wrapped in black silk cord and features traditional Menuki and Samé (Ray Skin) fittings. The included black lacquered Saya (scabbard) is made of hard wood. The packaging also includes a fabric carrying and storage case for the sword.
