Product Description

The ESEE Knives Fire Steel is made of 1095 carbon steel and heat treated for use as a fire starting tool with a true flint and charred material. The edges of the Fire Steel also function as a striker for ferrocerium (iron) rods, and the central recess is designed for use as a socket for a bow drill. The Fire Steel comes packaged in a tin with a hinged lid that can be used to make charred cloth or other charred materials.
