The KUPILKA FireSteel 8 striker creates large sparks with a temperature of up to 3,000 °C for easy fire making even in wet conditions. It comes with a metal scraper and a leather cord made from reindeer leather. The handle is made of Kareline, a wood-plastic material that can be used even with gloves on. Made in Finland from a European ferrocerium rod. The scraper is a byproduct of the metal processing industry. Designed in collaboration with Karu Survival, a leading company specializing in wilderness survival training in Finland.
