Product Description
HERRING Extrema Ratio is a modern interpretation of the iconic Fairbairn Sykes combat knife. Fairbairn Sykes was a dagger from World War II and was originally part of the standard equipment of British commando members.
The dagger was first used in Italy by soldiers of the 1st Parachute Brigade 'Folgore' during Operation Herring, from which the knife got its name. Extrema Ratio Herring was developed in cooperation with the 185th RRAO. It is a ceremonial commemorative dagger for the 20th anniversary of the regiment's founding, as well as the Herring mission, which took place 75 years ago.
The blade is made of high-quality stainless steel N690. Extrema Ratio equipped the dagger with a beautiful brass handle. The brass has a patina, giving it an antique look. The handle is complemented by a steel guard. The knife comes with a beautiful leather sheath with the emblem of the 1st Parachute Brigade. With this knife, you will also receive a document with further information about the regiment and a replica of the regiment's badge.
