Fenix CL26R is a practical portable rechargeable lantern that you can use to illuminate a room, tent or desk. High-brightness LEDs hidden under a cylindrical diffuser provide a light output of up to 400 lumens (ANSI) and can last up to 400 hours. The lantern is powered by a 2600 mAh Li-ion battery (included in the package), which can be charged directly in the lantern using a micro-USB connector. In case of emergency, the lantern can also be powered by two disposable CR123A batteries. The lantern offers a total of eight lighting modes, including bottom and side lighting, and also features red light, which does not disrupt eye adaptation to darkness.

Side and bottom lighting are very practical features that save energy. They are especially useful in situations where a circular omnidirectional lighting is not needed. The lantern is also equipped with an extended runtime function. During prolonged use in turbo mode (400 lumens) and high mode (150 lumens), the lantern gradually reduces the output in small steps to achieve longer runtime.

Thanks to its durable and impact-resistant construction with IP66 rating, the light can be safely used even in adverse weather conditions (heavy rain). The top of the lantern is equipped with a hanging loop and a strong neodymium magnet, so you can easily hang or attach it to anything magnetic. The mounting options are further expanded by a tripod thread, also located on the top of the lantern. With its compact dimensions and weight of 165 grams, the lantern is particularly suitable for camping and hiking.

All parameters of the flashlight (light output, battery runtime, waterproofness, beam distance, and impact resistance) are measured in accordance with the ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009 standard.

Eight power modes:
400 lumens (5 hours) -> 150 lumens (15 hours) -> 40 lumens (30 hours) -> side lighting 25 lumens (58 hours) -> bottom lighting 3 lumens (240 hours) -> bottom lighting 25 lumens (58 hours) -> red LED 1 lumen (200 hours) -> red blinking 1 lumen (400 hours).

Usage:
The lantern may have a black battery insulation cover inside from the factory. Remove it from the battery before first use. To turn on or off, press and hold the side button for 1 second. The six levels of white light output can be cyclically switched by a short press of the button, the red light is activated by a double quick press of the button. Another press will switch to the red blinking mode, and a double press will return to the white light modes.

Low battery warning - the light automatically switches to the lowest mode.

Charging the Fenix CL26R lantern:
To charge the lantern, remove the rubber cover of the micro-USB connector. Connect it to a computer, a USB wall charger, or a car USB adapter using the included USB cable. You can also use a standard charger for mobile phones with a micro-USB connector or a power bank. During charging, the LED indicators above the side button will blink to show the charging progress. They will remain on after charging is complete.

The battery does not suffer from memory effect, so it can be recharged anytime and there is no need to wait for it to be fully discharged. Charging a fully depleted battery takes about 2.5 - 4 hours (depending on the power of the charging source used).

During charging, the lantern can only be turned on in the 40 lumens mode.

Battery status indication - after a short press of the button (the lantern must be off), the LED battery status indicator above the control button will activate. Four illuminated LEDs mean that the battery is charged to more than 80%, three illuminated LEDs indicate 60-80%, two indicate 40-60%, one indicates 20-40%, and a flashing LED indicates that the battery is charged to less than 20%.

The package includes the lantern, Fenix 18650 2600 mAh battery, spare O-ring, a hanging carabiner, and a USB cable.
