Gerber Downwind Caper is a compact hunting knife from the Downwind series by Gerber. This collection of knives draws inspiration from traditional outdoor knives of the past, but is modernized using contemporary materials and manufacturing methods. The Gerber Downwind Caper knife is ideal for game dressing. The excellent finger groove allows for holding the knife close to the blade, providing greater control when dressing animals.
The blade of this knife is made of quality 7Cr steel, which is easily sharpened. The handle from the Downwind collection is exceptional. It is made of layered material G10, which ensures a firm grip. The handle design is well thought out, with the material surrounding the steel handle. In addition to its aesthetic appearance, it also provides comfort and thermal insulation, which is a great advantage in colder conditions.
Both the blade and handle have added ridges, which provide better control and security during precise operations.
This knife comes with a sheath covered with a layer of wax, ensuring protection against external influences. The knife is securely fastened in the sheath using a retention pin.
