The blade with a smooth edge and a hollow grind is made of stainless steel 440C with a hardness of 57-60 HRC. Between the handle and the blade, you will find a solid brass guard that prevents your hand from slipping onto the blade and protects your hand from everything you are cutting. The handle consists of two oak scales attached with 4 solid and one hollow brass pin. The hollow pin can be used for threading a cord.
