KA-BAR KB-1248 CUTLASS MACHETE

The Ka-bar company became famous mainly for its series of military knives, such as the USMC Marine Corps knife or later the Next Generation Fighting Knife model. The Ka-Bar USMC model was used as standard equipment by the US Navy during World War II, and soldiers used these knives not only as weapons but also as tools that helped them in other activities.

Ka-bar knives were also used in the military in conflicts in Vietnam, Korea, and Iraq during Operation Desert Storm, and many of them have found fans among tourists and bushcraft enthusiasts.

The Cutlass Machete from KA-BAR is the perfect compromise between a large fixed blade and a full-size machete, making it ideal for chopping, clearing, or even cutting small vegetation and branches. The blade is made of 1085 Carbon Steel with a black, matte coating. The handle is made of Kraton G material in black.

Despite its size, this model is easy to carry thanks to a unique combination of a Cordura sheath and a leather loop with a belt clip.
