Product Description

The Lynx was the first knife made by Marttiini and has been continuously produced since the very beginning of the factory. The main characteristic that makes Lynx popular is the curved blade. The slightly curved tip of the blade makes it easier to skin and lift a hot kettle from a campfire. The blade has a beautiful mirror finish, and "J. Marttiini, Finland" is engraved on the flat blade.

The blade is made of forged carbon steel. The Lynx has a brass bolster, head, and handle made of curly birch wood.

The knife comes with a leather sheath with a traditional Lappish design and decorations.

Pekný fínsky nôž s čepeľou z kovanej ocele a rúčkou z kučeravej brezy. Od výroby je extrémne ostrý. Je vhodný na jemnú prácu s drevom, sťahovanie z kože (skinner), rezbárske/tesárske práce (carving/carpentry). Rúčka buď nebola ošetréná, alebo len minimálne, tak Vám odporúčam ju ošetriť ľanovým olejom alebo včelím voskom s ľanovým olejom, kresba dreva krásne vynikne a rúčka bude odolnejšia voči vlhkosti a znečisteniu.
