The C40 3M Thinsulate thermal layer keeps your hands warm and the softshell on the back of the hand protects against water. The rubber cuff with a dry zipper keeps the gloves firmly on the hand. There is also a loop on the edge to hang the gloves, for example, on a carabiner.
