Muela Colibri COL-7G
Colibri Granite, Satin is a compact hunting knife with a full tang construction, made of X50CrMoV15 steel. The steel has undergone cryogenic treatment CRYO-T, also known as steel freezing. This treatment increases the hardness and strength of the blade. The handle is made of granite.
1.4116 (X50CrMoV15) is a high-carbon, martensitic stainless steel with the addition of molybdenum and vanadium, highly resistant to corrosion and wear. It is used in the production of knives and surgical instruments. It is characterized by relatively high hardness for stainless steel 56-58 HRC. The chemical composition of the steel has been enriched with 15.0% chromium, 0.80% molybdenum, 0.20% vanadium.
The steel has undergone cryogenic treatment CRYO-T, also known as freezing and thawing. CRYO-T leads to a homogeneous internal steel structure, resulting in a significant increase in blade strength, increased resistance to impacts, tension, and torsion.
Blade - wide, solid Drop Point blade elegantly finished with a Satin surface treatment. Despite its thickness, the flat grind provides excellent cutting properties along with excellent durability. A slight guard protects the fingers from slipping onto the blade during work.
Handle - made of a beautiful and durable mixture of granite and resin. The contoured handle eliminates sharp edges for a comfortable grip. Brass pins maintain the strength of the entire structure. At the rear of the handle, there is a hole for threading a lanyard.
Sheath - hand-stitched, made of high-quality brown leather with the Muela logo embossed. The edges of the sheath are stitched with decorative thread. The belt loop allows for carrying the knife in a vertical position.
