The Olight PL-3R Valkyrie Desert Tan weapon light is an enhanced version of the well-known PL-3 Valkyrie, now offering a maximum output of 1500 lumens with a high-performance cool white LED and the added benefit of being rechargeable. Due to its high power consumption, the device automatically reduces brightness to 600 lumens after 2 minutes to protect the LED. Equipped with a dual switch, the strobe function can be quickly activated, improving efficiency in emergency situations. This light is compatible with pistols featuring a Picatinny rail or a Glock-style rail and includes two mounting adapters (1913 and GL) for broad compatibility. It also has an adjustable sliding block with three positions for flexible rail adjustments. The Olight PL-3R Valkyrie attaches securely to the weapon rail with a screw locking mechanism. The screw can be loosened by hand or with the provided hex key, allowing the bracket to open and the light to be placed on the rail. Once positioned, the screw is tightened to secure the light. The dual switches are located at the rear and are activated by pressing sideways. A quick press turns the light on or off, while holding the button activates momentary mode. The strobe is toggled by pressing both buttons simultaneously. Modes can be changed by double-pressing either button when the light is on, or by double-pressing when off to start in high mode. To switch between high modes, press a button ten times, holding on the last press for at least a second. The light will flash to indicate the mode. To prevent accidental activation, the Olight PL-3R Valkyrie includes a lock mode. It arrives in lock mode and can be unlocked by holding both buttons. To lock, hold one button for 0.5 seconds, then press and hold both buttons for 2 seconds until the light turns off. The Olight PL-3R Valkyrie is rechargeable with a built-in 900 mAh lithium-polymer battery. Charging is easy with the magnetic charger and USB cable, which lights up red during charging and green when complete.
