The color temperature can be adjusted from bright white to orange, with orange light aiding night vision and white light offering wider illumination. At 10 lumens, the lantern can operate in white mode for up to 7.5 days continuously, making it perfect for extended trips or camping. It's also suitable for garden lighting due to its long battery life, reducing the need for frequent recharges. Additionally, the Olantern Classic Pro 2 can serve as a backup power source for mobile devices, thanks to its USB-A and USB-C ports. The lantern is user-friendly, featuring a rotary switch at the bottom for easy adjustments of color and brightness, from orange to white light. It includes a handle for convenient carrying and hanging, ideal for use in a tent or on a terrace. With an 11,200 mAh battery, the lantern offers up to 8 hours at 200 lumens or 35 hours at 130 lumens. It can be charged using the included USB-C cable or an optional Olight MCC3 magnetic charger. A charging indicator next to the USB port shows battery status: green indicates 95–100% charged, while flashing red means under 95%.
