The Olight Baton 3 Pro Max is an enhanced version of the Baton 3 Pro, maintaining its compact form while offering a maximum output of 2500 lumens at its highest setting. It comes with a customized Olight 21700 lithium-ion battery with a 5000 mAh capacity, which charges inside the flashlight using the included MCC3 magnetic charging cable for quicker charging. Attach the magnet to the flashlight's base and plug the USB end into a suitable USB adapter (5 V 2 A recommended for fastest charging). The magnet's indicator lights red during charging and turns green when complete. A battery level indicator on the side switch shows when recharging is needed: green for over 60% power, orange for 10%-60%, red for under 10%, and flashing red for under 5%, indicating urgent recharging. The Baton 3 Pro Max has a larger, slightly concave button to minimize accidental activation, and an electronic lockout function to prevent accidental power-on, activated by holding the button for 2 seconds when off and deactivated the same way. The flashlight offers five brightness levels and a strobe mode, operated by pressing the side button. Brightness is adjusted by holding the button with the light on, cycling through low, mid, and high modes. Moonlight mode (0.5 lumens) is accessed by holding the button when off, and Turbo mode is activated by double-clicking the button, whether on or off. Strobe mode is activated by pressing the button three times quickly when on. The memory function recalls the last-used mode, including moonlight, low, mid, high, and turbo. It also features two timer settings: a long timer (9 minutes) and a short timer (3 minutes), accessed by double-clicking and holding the side button while on. A single blink indicates the 3-minute mode, and two blinks indicate the 9-minute mode. The dual magnetic tail cap allows for charging and attachment to metal surfaces for hands-free use. The Baton 3 Pro Max includes an L-shaped stand that can be attached to a surface with strong adhesive for convenient magnetization. The two-way pocket clip makes it easy to carry on clothing or a backpack.
