Water Travel Filter SAWYER SP2129 Micro Squeeze Filter System

The Sawyer SP2129 Micro Squeeze Filter is technologically based on the internationally popular Sawyer MINI and SQUEEZE water filters, taking the best from both types of filters. The filter uses hollow microfibers, whose walls form a membrane with a pore size of max. 0.1micron. With a total weight of 45g and the ability to roll up into a small package, it takes up almost no space in your backpack. It fits perfectly in your hand and is always ready for use. All filters are made in the USA.

Water filtered through the Sawyer SP128/129 device meets the drinking water standard valid for Slovakia and the EU: (SOP 06.0.52, STN EN ISO 9308-1, and SOP 06.0.3, STN EN ISO 6222)
The Sawyer SP128/129 filtration system meets the requirements for the EU according to 2008/60/EC, 95/45/EC, and 2008/84/EC.

LIFETIME WARRANTY - 378,000 LITERS OF WATER! Its use is simple - scoop water from a lake, stream, or river into a bottle/bag, screw it onto the Sawyer filter, and you have four options:

squeeze the bottle and filter water into your bottle or any other container
drink directly from the filter - the filter includes a sports cap on/off closure, similar to cycling bottles
connect the filter output to most PET-threaded bottles and pump/filter water into them
attach the filter to a hydration pack and conveniently drink directly from the pack.

TIP: The filter can also be used with a regular PET bottle instead of the supplied collapsible bottle. It is also possible to filter water directly into a PET bottle using a reducing adapter. This prevents possible water contamination during handling!

- SAWYER SP2129 FILTER DISADVANTAGES:
After filtering water, it MUST NOT FREEZE! This would damage the porous membrane (applies to all porous filters, essentially). When used in freezing conditions, it is necessary to carry the filter, for example, in a chest pocket or elsewhere on the body (due to its size, it is not a problem), until the filter is thoroughly dried.
It does not filter chemicals and heavy metals.
