The second generation of Work Sharp Knife and Tool Sharpeners, the Ken Onion edition, was developed in close collaboration with American knife maker Ken Onion. We present to you a device that is not just a successor to the well-known sharpener (WSKTS), but a new sharpener that gives the user more options than the previous version. While the basic operations are identical to the older model, the new features of the Ken Onion Work Sharp Knife and Tool Sharpeners require a bit more experience in knife sharpening. For users looking for an easy installation with professional results, the basic model is still excellent and recommended.

The Ken Onion edition differs from the basic model in the following features:

• Variable belt speed, adjustable from 1200-2800 SFM
• Continuously adjustable sharpening angle from 15° - 30°
• Wider belts (3/4 x 12) with a wider range of grit sizes
• New, adjustable blade guide to the tip of the blade
• Various interchangeable heads for a wider range of sharpening options due to the wider adjustment of the sharpener, giving you more choices for sharpening
• Easy belt replacement without the use of tools
• Foldable sharpening head for space-saving storage
