Product Description
Near the headquarters of Boker company in Solingen is located the landmark of the Bergisches Land region, Burg an der Wupper Castle. It is also one of the largest castles in western Germany and the largest reconstructed castle in North Rhine-Westphalia. The famous history of Burg Castle is inseparably linked to the Duchy of Berg and the Counts of Berg (House of Berg 1068-1225). On this occasion, we decided to dedicate a series of Straight Razors to the three Counts of Berg, which symbolizes the parts of the lives of the three Counts and reminds us of the remarkable wealth and influence of the Counts with impressive decorations made of 24-carat gold.
The amazingly ground and gold-plated back of the polished 5/8 inch blade is the absolute highlight of the Boker brand selection. The blade etching elements decorated with 24-carat gold remind us of the realm of Count Everhard von der Mark with the coat of arms of the city of Hamm, which comes from the House of Berg. The tang, a blade with a rounded head, comes with double-sided serrations. It is delivered in an exquisite presentation with a certificate of authenticity and an individual serial number.
The blade width is 5/8, the blade material is carbon steel, and the handle material is made of horn.
