The Rockstead DON T-ZDP is a top-tier Japanese fixed-blade knife designed for demanding users and collectors. This knife combines traditional Japanese craftsmanship with modern technologies and materials.

Blade Material: The blade is made from ZDP-189 steel, covered with VG10 steel. ZDP-189 steel is known for its high hardness (approximately 67 HRC) and edge retention. The blade has a mirror finish, achieved through progressive grinding and polishing with several grades of fine abrasive paper.
Blade Design: The blade features a tanto shape and a convex grind (Honzukuri), ensuring exceptional sharpness and wear resistance.
Handle: The handle is made from ebony wood and adorned with silver menuki, traditional Japanese ornaments made from silver castings. The ornaments are shaped like Japanese Koi carp. This design is reminiscent of the traditional Japanese wakizashi sword.
