The replacement filter cartridge for GeoPress is designed to last 350 cycles (65 gal. / 250 l). When filtering water with high levels of mud, sediment, or tannins, the cartridge's lifespan is reduced. Filtration time increases as the cartridge's lifespan decreases, and if the filtration time reaches 25-30 seconds, the cartridge should be replaced.
