Product Description
Purity, diligence, and humility were the basic traits of samurais. Boker Magnum Akito Wakizashi represents a tribute to the famous warriors of feudal Japan. The short sword was once allowed to be carried only by respected individuals in society and demonstrated its advantages over the katana especially in close combat. The sword is adorned with many details that embody the spirit of the samurai. The sharpened blade allows for tameshigiri practice (cutting trials).
The blade made of stainless carbon steel has traditional bo-hi (groove), while the wooden handle has ornate tsubu, menuki (decorative elements under the handle wrap), and black tsuka-ito (ribbon on the handle). The black lacquered wooden saya (scabbard) has a typical sageo cord for attaching to the belt.
