The SHU C-ZDP-DP model is nearly identical to the original SHU, with the main distinction being the handle's DLC-Prism coating. While the process resembles that of DLC coating, there are some variations. The oven is heated to 400 degrees Celsius, resulting in a surface hardness similar to that of a diamond, around Hv3000. The coating's thickness is merely 0.3 microns. This special coating is also applied to the knife's titanium handle because it offers a beautiful color gradation. Please note that the coating color may vary slightly for each handle.
