Product Description

This Wüsthof Classic 16 cm chef's knife is similar to a "regular" Wüsthof Classic chef's knife. The main difference between these two knives is the grind. While the "regular" knife has a blade ending with a wider part resembling a guard, this model has a grind along its entire length, allowing you to use the entire blade. Additionally, you can easily sharpen the knife without encountering the widening near the blade's heel.

The blade with a smooth edge is made of X50CrMoV15 steel and is 16 cm long. The handle is made of black synthetic material.

A very nice chef knife. For some reason I thought it would be a bit thicker, but I do not mind. I like that it is a half bolster and not a full bolster like other SKUs. It is very good at handling almost anything. If you have a good paring knife and a nice cleaver, you can handle anything in the kitchen.
