The blade is made of high-quality carbon steel. The black surface is achieved by a chemical reaction of acid with steel. The handle is made of Amboina exotic wood, which resembles marble carbon in its structure. The wood is stabilized by a special method, in which hot epoxy is injected into the wood, which hardens. The handle thus acquires a smooth surface pleasant to the touch. The rounded shapes of the handle nicely contrast with the sharp edges of the blade. On the sides of the handle, there is a silver Boker logo as a mark of authenticity and quality.
