Wide blades are particularly strong and inspiring. They inspire not only avid lovers of classic wet shaving, but also complete beginners. The massive 7/8 inch wide blade of this exceptional shaving tool also features the Barber's Notch. Paua are mollusks of the abalone genus, but unlike abalones, they come only from the untouched nature of the coastal waters of New Zealand. For many centuries, they have served the Maori as traditional body decorations and are still used today as ornaments for figures, weapons, and conference houses.
The impressive handle is completely unique, both in color - / Paua / and in pattern. In addition to the unusual joining material, which is also adorned with decorative thread, it immediately catches the eye with detailed laser decoration on the blade. The design was inspired by a historical etching from Böker, with which our blades were already adorned in 1900. The razor is equipped with a Boker trademark on the neck of the blade, a certificate of authenticity, and a historical packaging. It is handmade in the Boker knife factory in Solingen.
