BÖKER razor -140561- Mr. Feldmann
Unlike most barbers, Mr. Feldmann uses only traditionally made razors for wet shaving and no disposable blades. The customer's skin is carefully prepared in several steps. First, a shaving oil treatment is performed, followed by the application of a hot compress on the face. Later, a high-quality shaving cream is applied, which is then covered with warm shaving foam from a specially acquired foam machine in the USA. The customer experiences a meticulous shaving process with thorough preparation on one of the two barber chairs made in Chicago in the Roaring Twenties, which provided their most significant services on the luxurious German excursion ship Cap Polonio.
This type of classic shaving is possible only thanks to a strictly implemented concept of hygiene. Disinfection of all tools after each customer and weekly hygiene instructions, which Alexander Feldmann and his employees always carried out, are even more important in the time of COVID-19. Mr. Feldmann himself is a brand that is very dear to his heart. Black pants, white shirt, suspenders, a red tie, and cufflinks - all of this creates an equally dignified appearance. And of course, an impressive and always well-groomed beard. In addition to genuine beard care, Alexander Feldmann also has creative ideas, such as shaving late into the evening, monthly barber subscriptions, and many other changing events.
It is absolutely clear to us that exceptional barber tools are created in collaboration with legendary barbers. The blade with a barber notch and teeth on both sides is extra sharpened. In addition to the 6/8 inch wide blade, Alexander Feldmann's razor impresses with at least two other interesting features: The blade etching is done in red and perfectly matches the handle made of stabilized and colorful curly birch, which is also adorned with delicate engravings. The razor is equipped with an authentic Boker mark on the neck of the blade, a certificate of authenticity, and a historical package. It is handmade in the Boker knife factory in Solingen.
