Product Description
This Wüsthof Gourmet 20 cm bread knife is an essential tool for any kitchen. Besides slicing bread, this knife is also ideal for cutting vegetables and fruits with tough skins. The serrated edge functions similarly to saw teeth, but with much finer precision. This design allows you to effortlessly slice through loaves and even the hardest crusts with ease.
The polypropylene handle is securely fastened to the blade with rivets. Its ergonomic design ensures a comfortable grip, allowing you to work for extended periods without straining your hands. These knives are certified with the NSF mark, making them suitable for use in professional kitchens.
The blade is crafted from a single piece of chromium-molybdenum-vanadium steel using laser cutting technology. This manufacturing process is more cost-effective than forging, yet it still produces high-quality kitchen knives when the appropriate steel is used. The steel is then hardened to 56 Rockwell, resulting in a blade that maintains its sharpness longer than other brands within the same price range.
