The hunting sword was a popular weapon with a short blade that gained popularity in Europe and North America during the 16th and 17th centuries. The advantages of this weapon included efficiency, easy handling, and compactness. It was an extremely versatile and effective sword that was a perfect companion for hunting as well as combat. Just like many originals from that time, our version is unique.

The blade with a slightly raised tip is made of 1055 steel with a high carbon content. The intricately hand-carved handle is made of rosewood and adorned with nickel rivets. The decorated guard, forward-curved shell-shaped protective quillon, and pommel are made of steel.

The scabbard is made of strong black leather and decorated with relief nickel plating at both ends.
