Product Description
This cavalry saber was widely used by the British and their Prussian allies under the leadership of General Blucher in the Battle of Waterloo. The blade was derived from the fierce Indian Talwar, and the French criticized and protested against its use due to the terribly destructive wounds it caused. In fact, this saber was so successful as a slashing weapon that the German cavalry used it until the early 20th century. If you want a saber of the highest quality that is fully capable of cutting off hands and even legs with a single stroke, you must have it!
The blade is made of 1055 carbon steel. The wrist guard with a handguard is made of steel. The ergonomically shaped leather handle provides a comfortable grip even during powerful strikes.
It comes fully sharpened with a leather sheath with steel fittings.
